Fremme Danish Cross Stitch - Bjorn Wiinblad

This abstract picture designed by Bjorn Wiinblad based on H.C. Andersen's fairy tales. His designs grew on me the more I looked at it. At first, I didn't understand why this book went for such a high price on Ebay, until I began to stitch it, the more I stitch the more I began to see things, like the man going up the hill, the pig on the left, the man's blue vest etc. I have used DMC floss intead of Danish flower threads, cos I have heaps of DMC which I should utilise. This is stitched on 28ct cream Jobelan - 2 over 2. there are 12 designs in this book divided into Four seasons. I would like to stitch Thumbelina next.
